Well, we are home for a while now. Don't plan to head out on any long trips until after the New Year. Now it is time to start shopping till I drop.
Sunday, if you read my son's note, my husband was appointed an elder where we worship. He is happy and humbled by the position. He looks forward to working with the other elders we have. We will now start looking for deacons. We have lost several of our deacons for one reason or another and need more.
Sunday I came home from church and spend the day laying around because I was sick. I guess I had a stomach virus and ran a fever with it. I had the dry heaves all Sunday afternoon and I called the doctors office on Monday. Dr. Tyner did my surgery at the end of July and I was courious if the heaving had anything to do with the surgery. Sure enough it did. Someday I may be able to half way throw up but I will usually heave and feel miserable. My sides are still sore today. I hope nobody gets what I had. When you just heave and can't throw up it is just miserable. I did take some nausea tablets I had been given by the doctor who did my surgery. The nurse said when I get sick like that call the doctors office for a nausea prescription.
I'm looking forward to Thanksgiving. We will all be together at Cheryl's this year. It will be so wonderful to spend time with family. Since Cheryl was married I don't think the whole family has spent more than one Thanksgiving together if that. That has been 11 years.
Happy Thanksgiving Day!
